Man Killed In Shreveport Home Invasion

SHREVEPORT, La. (AP) — Police are still hunting for the shooter in a burglary that left a Shreveport man dead.

KTBS TV reports the shooting occurred just after 6 a.m. Saturday in the Sunset Acres neighborhood.

When Shreveport police and detectives arrived on scene, they found 22-year-old Duntavious Young in the front yard with a gunshot wound to the upper body.

Young was transported to LSU Health Shreveport where he was pronounced dead.

Police say a suspect entered the home and demanded money from Young, before shooting him and leaving the scene on foot.
