Merger Of LSU-Shreveport And Lousiana Tech Awaits Legislative Approval

Louisiana Tech and LSU-Shreveport now one step closer to merging into one university.

The Board of Regents today approved a plan that'll merge the two. The goal of the merger is to provide better educational services to people in the Shreveport area.

The proposal now moves to the Legislature for final approval.
