One of Acadiana's premier steakhouses will be re-opening soon.

The Chitimacha Tribe of Louisiana and Cypress Bayou Casino Hotel say that Mr. Lester's Steakhouse will be re-opened to the public next week.

The restaurant will open on Thursday, November 5th at 5:00 pm and will operate weekly on Thursdays from 5 pm to 9 pm and Friday and Saturdays from 5 pm to 11 pm by reservation only.

“We cannot be more thrilled to welcome our valuable guests and team members back to Mr. Lester’s Steakhouse, Acadiana premier steakhouse,” said Mike Howard, General Manager and CEO at Cypress Bayou Casino Hotel.

There will be some changes due to COVID-19, such as capacity limitations which will limit reservations, enhanced sanitation procedures, and the reduction of large groups or gatherings to no more than 10 persons.

“While there are significant changes to the majority of our operations at this time, we have diligently worked to ensure that our guests will still enjoy the high level of service that they have grown accustomed to in a fun, friendly, and safe environment,” Howard added.

Guests must be at least 21 to enter hotel, gaming, and restaurants, and entertainment areas.
