National Emergency Grant Seeking To Help Displaced Workers From Oil Spill

Are you considering doing any hiring in the near future? Well now is the time! With the National Emergency Grant, if you hire someone who has been displaced either directly or indirectly by the oil spill, your company can be reimbursed up to 90% of the training wages to get that person up to speed and trained with your company. Training is based on the time allowed through O*Net .

Depending on size of company, reimbursement will be as follows:

  ·       Fewer than 50 employees – will receive 90%
  ·       With 50-250 employees – Will receive 70%
  ·       Over 250 employees – will receive 50%

You must be willing to start a person at least $10.00 per hour and offer some type of medical benefits to all your employees.
