New Iberia Man Killed After Being Hit By An 18-Wheeler

The crash involved Amos Johnson, of New Iberia, who was attempting to cross Highway 90 when he was hit.

The driver of the 18-wheeler, Ray Hebert, was not injured in the incident.

Police are investigating the accident and have routine toxicology samples submitted to see if impairment was a factor.
