A federal court judge agreed today to allow two New Orleans police officers convicted on charges related to the death of a man after Hurricane Katrina. They'll remain free on a 100-thousand-dollar property bond until they're sentenced in March. Officer Greg McRae was convicted of burning Henry Glover's body and Lieutenant Travis McCabe was convicted of trying to cover it up by filing a false police report and lying to federal investigators. Former NOPD Officer David Warren was found guilty of manslaughter for shooting Glover to death. He is being held without bond.

The New Orleans Police Superintendent stripped McCabe and McRae of their police powers and are unpaid emergency suspension. Three other officers are on administrative assignment - one who is acquitted of burning Glover's body, and two others...who admitted lying to federal investigators.
