Office Of Motor Vehicles Commissioner Kate Hodges Steps Down

After 40 years in public service, Office of Motor Vehicles Commissioner Kate Hodges has stepped down. Governor Jindal has appointed Abbeville State Senator Nick Gautreaux to take over her position. Gautreaux applauds Hodges for her decades of dedicated service. Gautreaux says he's honored and humbled to be chosen by Governor Jindal and State Police Superintendent Mike Edmonson to fill Hodges vacating position. Gautreaux says, as Motor Vehicle Commissioner, he'll continue the good work started by Hodges...and has some plans of his own in mind for the state's motorists.
