Oil Well Flash Fire Injures One

State Police say one employee suffered minor burn injuries in a flash fire that occurred around 6:30 yesterday morning.

The fire happened at a new oil well near the town of Ragley in Beauregard Parish.  There was no immediate word on what sparked the fire at the well site operated by Midstates Petroleum.
