Those interested in attending "Acadiana Day at teh Legislature" are still invited to register for the all-day event taking place this Thursday. Registration includes transportation. lunch and a commemorative t-shirt.

One Acadiana is hosting the "Welcome Home Acadiana" event on Saturday April 23 at the Acadiana Center for the Arts. El Koubi said the free event is a casual job fair designed with Acadiana "ex-patriots" in mind. On hand will be representatives from 10 prominent Acadiana companies seeking energetic employees.

The beauty of this event is that during the job fair, Festival International is happening just outside, in Lafayette's Downtown, as well. El Koubi said participants are invited to attend the event in their most comfortable festival attire, then attend Lafayette's iconic Festival International for the remainder of the weekend.

One Acadiana's "Coffee With 1A" will be held Thursday, April 21 at 8 a.m. in the One Acadiana Board Room (804 East St Mary Blvd.). This monthly event is hosted by One Acadiana to combine up-to-date details about the organization with breakfast and relaxed conversation.
