Drew Brees was mic'd up when he broke the record for All Time Passing Yards.

It was a Monday night, October 8th, 2018. The Saints were taking on the Redskins in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.

Brees dropped back and threw to Tre'Quan Smith, who took it to the endzone for a 62 yard touchdown pass.

This historic moment stopped the game for several minutes as Drew was surrounded by his teammates. He was then given a certificate for his accomplishment.

He then ran over to his family, who was waiting on the sidelines. This is where he told his sons that you can accomplish anything you put your mind to.

He then celebrates with Sean Payton, who let's him have his moment, but reminds him that there's still a game to win. And win they did.

Drew Brees is an inspiration on and off the field. His genuine greatness shines through, and we are lucky to have him.
