Parade Date Changed For AHS Championship Football Team

A parade honoring the Class 5A State Champion Acadiana Wreckin' Ram Football team has been changed from Sunday to Saturday due to expected rain.

The City of Scott will be hosting the parade to celebrate the Wreckin Rams 21-14 victory over the previously undefeated West Monroe Rebels in the championship game at the Superdome back on Saturday, Dec. 11. The parade will be on Saturday, January 8, 2011 and will begin at AHS for 11:00 am. The principal, coaches, players and cheerleaders will be escorted from AHS to Dulles Rd, left on Westgate Rd., left on Hwy 90(at CVS) to St. Mary St. (Chase Bank) where we will turn right and stay on St. Mary St. until Lions Club Rd. where we will end a Fezzo’s III. Once at Fezzo’s III, there will be a celebration for our Wreckin Rams with presentations from the City of Scott as well as other organizations.
