As part of their Pay It Forward initiative, the Glenn Armentor Law Corporation is spearheading a food drive through Second Harvest Food Bank to help the hungry.

Second Harvest Food Bank of Acadiana can turn $1 into 4 meals, so they make each dollar count.

Those dollars count even more lately as during the month of July, one of their partner organizations lost a thousand pounds of food when Hurricane Barry knocked out the power to their cooler.

The Glenn Armentor Law Corporation is teaming up with NuNu's, Townsquare Media and Fox 15 to have a fundraiser now through Friday, September 13.

Armentor tells KPEL they are asking for people to donate non-perishable food items, like canned goods, canned meats and powdered milk.

The Glenn Armentor Law Corporation is a drop off location, as well as Fox 15, NuNu's four locations and Townsquare Media at 1749 Bertrand Drive.
