Louisiana Ragin' Cajun designated hitter and outfielder Todd Lott finished last weekend at Coastal Carolina with nine hits, seven RBI, an .824 slugging percentage and five runs scored.

Lott and the Cajun hitters earned 28 runs and 40 hits, taking 2 of 3 games from the Chanticleers.

For Lott's efforts, he was named the LSWA (Louisiana Sports Writers Association) hitter of the week.

With a .344 average (56-for-163), 6 home runs and 37 RBI, Lott is in the midst of his best collegiate season.

It marks the first LSWA honor of Lott's career.
