Rayville Police Arrest 2 In Fatal Home Invasion
RAYVILLE, La. (AP) — Rayville police have arrested two suspects in a fatal home invasion Sunday night.
Chief Willie Robinson tells The News-Star 20-year-old Cody Reynolds, of Rayville, and 24-year-old Jessty Reese, of Oak Ridge, were arrested late Monday night.
Both men were booked into Richland Parish Detention Center on a charge of second-degree murder.
Police say 24-year-old Brandon Johnson was killed when two masked suspects entered a Rayville apartment with a pistol and opened fire.
Robinson said the case remained under investigation.
It was unclear whether the suspects have attorneys.
