The joy of a kids game, the hometown River Ridge, Louisiana team captured the hearts of the world as Egan Prather pitches a complete game shutout to win the Little League World Series 8-0 over Curacao.

The offensive output continued for Louisiana early and often in this one as they jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the first inning as Marshall Louque doubled home a run.

In the fifth inning was when River Ridge opened the game up as they scored four runs to grab a 6-0 lead and would never look back...

Meanwhile, Reece Roussel recorded his 17th hit later in the ballgame which continued to set the high watermark for hits in a Little League World Series.

This team was absolutely relentless, after their opening loss to Hawaii they not only rattled off six straight wins but outscored opponents an astounding 52-6!

Congratulations to the squad from East Bank, it was a truly historic run with contributions up and down the lineup.
