Louisiana Little League Dominates Minnesota, Advances In LLWS
The Louisiana Little League team from River Ridge will live to see another meaningful game in Williamsport, PA after defeating Minnesota on Monday 10-0 in four innings.
The youngsters used power and pitching to take this game.
The power offense was evident right from the start as they jumped on Minnesota 3-0 after one inning. The output continued as they would add two in the third and then five in the fourth when they ended the game via a run-rule. Reece Roussel was their leader on offense as he went 3-3 with a double and three runs scored as he leads all players with seven hits during the Little League World Series. In addition, they outhit Minn. 11-2 in this game.
As for the pitching, it was all about Marshall Louque who got the start and fired three innings of one-hit ball adding four strikeouts.
Louisiana will face the winner of New Jersey and Rhode Island on Wednesday at 10 a.m. central time.
