Road/Bridge Closures Across Acadiana Due to Winter Storm

The following roads and bridges have been closed across Acadiana because of the winter storm that made its way across Acadiana. But as the sun comes out, officials are hoping things will improve.

• I-10 Eastbound and Westbound from I-49 in Lafayette, including 118 to 135 (Atchafalaya Basin Bridge), all the way to Baton Rouge

ACADIA PARISH

• Estherwood Pontoon Bridge (LA 91) (OPEN)
• All roads are frozen and iced over in Church Point. The bridges have a sheet of ice on them also and are hazardous for travel.

IBERIA PARISH

• US 90 Overpass over LA 88 (OPEN)
• US 90 Overpass over LA 675 (OPEN)
• US 90 Overpass over LA 14 (OPEN)
• US 90 Overpass over LA 329 (OPEN)
• US 90 Overpass over Lewis Street (OPEN)
• US 90 Overpass over LA 83 (OPEN)
• US 90 Overpass over Darnell Road (OPEN)
• US 90 Overpass over LA 85 (OPEN)
• US 90 Overpass over LA 668 (OPEN)

For the US 90 closures, traffic is being detoured via the exit and entrance ramps.

LAFAYETTE PARISH

ST. MARTIN PARISH

• I-10 Eastbound and Westbound from I-49 in Lafayette, including 118 to 135 (Atchafalaya Basin Bridge), all the way to Baton Rouge
• I-10 closed to vehicular travel along with Sawmill at the bridge overpass
• 1200 block of Sawmill (small bridge)
• Bordelon Road Overpass
• Pontoon Bridge
• US 90 at LA 3211 Overpass
• US 90 from Morgan City to Amelia

ST. MARY PARISH

• US 90 Amelia Bridge and all of US 90 through Gibson is now closed due to icy conditions.
• The LA 70 Sunshine Bridge is also now closed due to icy conditions.
