Children Injured In Lafayette Parish School Bus Crash

The Scott Police Department confirms to KPEL that there has been a school bus crash at Westgate and Cameron Streets in Scott.

Police Chief Chad Leger tells KPEL that officers and paramedics are on the scene to respond to the crash.

More than a dozen children were taken to the hospital from the scene, but the injuries have been described as non life-threating.

The bus was going to Scott Middle School.
