Scott Man Arrested On A Charge Of Attempted Second Degree Murder

Early Sunday morning Scott Police were sent out to a home in the 2900 block of West Willow Street after there were reports of shots being fired.

Officers found the victim bleeding after they say the person had been shot three times.

The victim was able to give officers a description of the suspects and their car.  They were located a short time later.

Police arrested Troy Filer Junior on charges including:

• Attempted second degree murder
• Illegal discharge of a firearm
• Possession of a stolen firearm

Police say they found three firearms in Filer's car, and one of those firearms had been reported stolen.

The victim, who did not have life-threatening injuries, was treated at a local hospital.

Detectives say they are continuing to investigate the shooting.
