Suspect Arrested In St. Martin Parish Shooting
Early Wednesday morning St. Martin Parish Sheriff's deputies responded to a report of gunshots being fired on Johnson Road in Breaux Bridge.
Deputies determined that one person was shot and left prior to the arrival of deputies and was being treated at a local hospital.
During that investigation deputies determined one of the subjects involved, 20 year old Andrew Granger of Abbeville was wanted by the Abbeville Police Department on two counts of attempted second degree murder, aggravated criminal damage to property and felon in possession of a firearm.
Those charges were in relation to an incident that happened on February 6th of this year.
Granger was booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center.
