Senator Cassidy To Tour Virtual Hospital In Lafayette
One of the many wonderful things about technology is how it can be used to increase the health of people, and today, U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy will visit a virtual hospital at a local center of learning.
The field of health is one area that continually changes, and Southwest Louisiana Community College's Health and Sciences Building has a virtual hospital to help understand coming changes.
Cassidy will be able to see the facility in Lafayette as students see and experience it. The virtual hospital features high-fidelity mannequins that students can practice on repeatedly to solidified the techniques they are learning.
The gather happens at 1:45 this afternoon, and after the demonstration, Senator Cassidy is expected to address students who are in this field.
The South Louisiana Community College's Health and Sciences Building is located at 1101 Bertrand Drive.
