U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy To Visit Franklin

There is a non-profit private health center in Franklin, and tomorrow afternoon, U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy plans to tour the facility.

At this facility, their goal is to help individuals who are trying to rid themselves of opioid addiction.

The Teche Action Clinic also works to help individuals who are dealing with mental health issues.

The group recently received grant money in the amount of $167,000 to continue their work.

The money came from a block of grant dollars from the U.S. Department of Health and Hospitals.

Cassidy will be learning about the programs offered at the facility.

The Teche Action Clinic is located at 1115 Weber Street in Franklin.
