Shooting Claims Life of a 16-Year-Old Baton Rouge Boy

 Baton Rouge police continue to investigate an early Wednesday night shooting that left a 16-year-old boy with a gunshot wound to the head.  The victim, whose name has not been released, underwent emergency surgery and at last word was in critical condition.  Officers responded to a shots-fired call just after 7 on Bootsie Drive and on arrival in the area found the teenager inside a vehicle on Frey Street.
