Lafayette Man Arrested for Stealing Over $500K From Infirmed Person
The St. Landry Parish Sheriff's Office has arrested a Lafayette man after he allegedly exploited an infirmed person totaling over $500,000 in theft.
Gregory T. Red, 62, was arrested on a slew of charges that include:
- Exploitation of Person with Infirmities
- Mortgage Fraud
- Credit Card Fraud by Person Authorized to Provide Goods and Services
- Theft in Excess of $500,000
KLFY is reporting the arrest was made after a warrant was issued for Red's arrest yesterday.
