Slow WiFi, Dirty Dishes Among Biggest Stresses Ailing Millenials
More than half of millenials say that life these days is more stressful than ever.
Life can certainly be stressful. There can be pressure put on us at work, at home and in our social circles. It seems like everyone expects something from us on a daily basis.
That's where the most stress comes from in my life... people.
As a self-proclaimed perfectionist, I never want to let people down. I will run myself ragged making sure people are not "disappointed" in me, my work, my effort, my level of caring etc. There are little things that can also get under our skin.
A recent survey done by Endoca, found that roughly 58 percent of millenials think life these days is the most stressful it's ever been. They were also able to determine the 20 things that stress millenials out the most. Keep in mind that millenials are people who reached adulthood in the early 21st century, so there's a good chance that many of them lived a life without Internet.
I'm considered a millenial, but I grew up thinking Internet was a privilege and not a right. Needless to say, I don't think many of the items on the list below are "stressful" per say, but definitely frustrating. Like, forgetting a password? Frustrating. Choosing what to wear? Annoying maybe, but not stressful.
Here are the top stressful scenarios according to millenials:
1. Losing wallet/credit card
2. Arguing with your partner
3. Commute/traffic delays
4. Losing your phone
5. Arriving late to work
6. Slow WiFi
7. Phone battery dying
8. Forgetting passwords
9. Credit card fraud
10. Forgetting your phone charger
