St. Mary Parish Investigating the Drowning of a Child

The St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office received an initial call of a death of a 5-year-old child by drowning on Saturday, in the Jeanerette area.

Detectives in the Investigation Section responded to the scene and the investigation is ongoing.
