State’s Presidential Primaries Pushed Back

A Senate panel reversed itself and voted to push Louisiana's Presidential Primaries back a month from February to March. The Senate Governmental Affairs committee voted 5 to 4 to approve the bill. The move was prompted by a threatened loss of delegates to both Political Party Conventions. The measure has already been approved by the House and now goes to the full Senate for debate.
