Starting Monday at 5 pm. the state of Louisiana will be under a Stay at Home mandate.

That after Governor John Bel Edwards made an address about the COVID-19 outbreak in Louisiana.

Edwards did this in order to stop the spread of the Coronavirus outbreak in the state.

All public schools and many businesses like bars and gyms were already closed by previous executive orders, but Sunday's expands the closures.

The new order will go into effect at 5 pm Monday.
