Student Airlifted From Beau Chene High School

St. Landry Parish Sheriff's Office Major Eddie Thibodeaux tells KPEL that a girl found unresponsive on a bus was later airlifted to a Lafayette hospital for treatment.

The status of the girl is not known, but Thibodeaux says it was fellow student, who had taken a first responder's class, moved in to the help the girl before paramedics arrived.

The girl was shocked several time before she was revived.

She is being treated at a Lafayette hospital.
