Authorities say a man who took three people hostage at a rural Louisiana bank has released a female bank teller and that negotiations are continuing to secure the release of the other two, a man and a woman.

Police says that 31-year-old Justin Reed Seawright was found by authorities last week at a motel in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, and he was brought back to Lafayette early Monday.

Detectives say that they believe Seawright used the white Mazda Tribute he stole from the grocery store parking lot to make his getaway after robbing the bank.

The suspect left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash, Mouton said, but he dropped his handgun before leaving the scene.

Detectives determined that Tillman was a 'person of interest' and secured a warrant for his arrest.
