A woman who works for a company contracted by St. Martin Parish is accused of trying to take drungs into the jail.

Ryan Callaway was arrested on Wednesday, August 30, and charged with one count of introduction of contraband into a penal facility and malfeasance in office.

Officials say they will continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding this incident.

20 year old Zedric Davis employed as a jailer at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center has been arrested.

Five inmates have been charged following an investigation into contraband being smuggled into the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center in Centerville.
