Three Shootings in Lafayette End With One Fatality, Two Injuries
Lafayette Police worked three shootings in the Hub City on Sunday that spokesperson Senior Corporal Bridgette Dugas is calling "isolated incidents." One man died while two other people were injured.

In a story that KPEL News brought to you on Sunday, 19-year-old Nakia Solomon of Breaux Bridge has been identified as the victim who died after being shot multiple times on in the 100 block of Ambroise Street. HEBERT ROAD
Another 19-year-old male was shot in an incident in the 100 block of Hebert Road.
Lafayette Police officers responded to the shooting around 12:46 p.m. In this case, the injury was non-life threatening and the victim was last listed in stable condition.

INTERSECTION OF CAMERON STREET @ NORTH UNIVERSITY AVENUE
A 17-year-old female is recovering in the hospital in stable condition following a shooting around 1:00 PM on Sunday.
The shooting happened at the intersection of Cameron Street at N. University Avenue but the victim was found inside a vehicle at the intersection of E. Simcoe at NW Evangeline Thruway.
