Today’s Wisconsin Primaries May Prove Pivotal For Both Parties (Audio)
Fox News correspondent Julianne Thompson said Wisconsin is an "extremely pivotal state" for the presidential cycle.
Thompson told KPEL's Rob and Bernie this morning no Republican has won the GOP presidential nomination without winning Wisconsin for the past 50 years.
In Wisconsin, the Republican Primary Election yield 42 delegates of which 24 are allocated based on Congressional districts, while the remaining 18 are allocated to the candidate that has won the statewide majority.
Thompson said she believes Sen. Ted Cruz will win Wisconsin today and lead the GOP to a brokered Republican National Convention in July.
No one could have expected what the nation is witnessing with the presidential candidates, thus far. Whether it is on the Republican, or Democratic ticket, candidates have come and gone despite what political pundits and media professionals predicted.
