Accident Leaves Truck Crashed Into Wal-Mart Entrance In Lafayette

Photos from social media show a crash that occurred in front of the Wal-Mart on Pinhook in Lafayette where a truck can be seen wrecked up against the front entrance of the grocery store.

We aren't sure exactly how this wreck occurred, but as you can see in the photos above there are two vehicles involved. Witnesses from the scene said that as the mid-sized SUV hit the truck, the truck struck the building.

A mid-size SUV can be seen with its front bumper up against the back end of a pick-up truck. The pick-up trucks front-end can be seen crashed up against the front of the store, only feet away from where the doors of Wal-Mart open.

While the incident doesn't seem to be too severe, we hope everyone involved is ok as getting in a wreck in any circumstance is scary. Hopefully, no shoppers were close to the crash as this would surprise the heck out of me if I were just walking out of grocery shopping and this happened.
