Former Louisiana Ragin' Cajun basketball player Justin Miller will get an opportunity to play against his old school on Monday afternoon.

A 6-foot-6 forward, Miller transferred from Louisiana to Detroit Mercy, who the Cajuns will be facing on Monday night in the Middleweight Bracket of the MGM Resorts Main Event in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Louisiana is currently 3-2 on the season, while Detroit Mercy will enter the contest will an overall record of 1-3.

Tipoff time is set for 3 pm (CDT).

Miller, who has one year of eligibility remaining at Detroit Mercy, appeared in 97 games with the Cajuns over a three-year period, including 59 games as a starter, while scoring 879 points.

A native of Beaver Dam, Kentucky, Miller averaged nine points and 7.4 rebounds for the Cajuns last season, after scoring eleven points with 5.2 rebounds as a freshman and 7.1 points and 3.7 rebounds as a sophomore.

This season, Miller is averaging 9.0 points and 5.8 rebounds for the Titans.
