UL Student Nurse Brittni Clements On How Cancer Changed Her Life [VIDEO]
UL Student Brittni Clements, daughter of CJ Clements from 99.9 KTDY, will address via video, a group of nurses attending a banquet at Acadiana Center for the Arts in downtown Lafayette tonight presented by Service Chevrolet. This will be the first time she talks about her life before, during and after being diagnosed with cancer in 2016.
Tonight a sister station to 99.9 KTDY, 97.3 the DAWG, will hold a banquet saluting the valuable, tiring, yet fulfilling work of nurses in the Acadiana area. Those in attendance will be treated to a wonderful evening of food, prizes, specials guests and a few surprises as well.
Brittni Clements will be part of a video presentation tonight. For the first time after being diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (APL) High Risk and spending 39 days in a Florida hospital in February of 2016, Clements will speak out on how cancer and the nurses who cared for her changed the course of her life.
