On May 18th, agents received information about an illegal methamphetamine transaction that was supposed to occur. The suspect in question was Jeremy Melancon, who was wanted for outstanding warrants. Upon setting up surveillance, agents witnessed Melancon arrive at the predetermined location. While agents began to move in, Melancon fled the area with a passenger in his vehicle.
