Lafayette, LA (KPEL News) - I confess that I don't always understand what a vehicle owner is trying to communicate when I see a Louisiana vanity plate. The creativity and thought that goes into whatever letter and number combination people will pay pay to display is fascinating, if a bit wacky. And how did they decide on their particular choice?

Whatever the answer, it's always fun to think about the wacky tags you see, even if you can't always figure out what they mean.
