Watch as linemen with SLEMCO repair lines that fell across I-49 after Hurricane Delta, they did this in record time.

Some of the poles that made it through the storm gave way days after the storm passed, thus "live lines" fell across the busy highway.

With the help of State Police, crews were able to put new poles in and get lines back up and running in record-breaking time.

I want to take the time now to thank each and every person who has put in work to get power back to many across South Louisiana. With the amount of damage I have seen following Hurricane Delta, it is amazing that power has been restored so fast.
