We Should All Keep an Eye on The Gulf of Mexico Next Week
As we get closer to the month of August, things really begin to heat up in the tropics.
According to Meteorologist Scott Pilie in New Orleans, we may need to keep an eye on the Gulf of Mexico next week.
Reason being, a tropical wave in the Lesser Antilles will move into the Gulf next week and that could bring tropical moisture to much of the gulf coast.
The chances for development remains low for now, but that doesn't mean that we couldn't get a significant amount of rainfall late next week.
Remember, we are in the midst of hurricane season and we should always be prepared for development anytime a disturbance enters the Gulf.
We will continue to follow this developing weather scenario and we'll provide you with the latest updates here.
