Weather Channel Reporter Thinks Graves Are ‘Floating’ Due To Flooding In Louisiana
If you though the 'Atchafalaya' chick was bad, you're gonna love this.
The national media strikes again as a Weather Channel reporter (twice) pointed out that graves were "floating" due to flooding from Barry in Louisiana. Facebook user Sarah Halphen shared this clip that has been shared over 1500 times.
Of course, we know that those graves aren't actually floating. Ironically, the above-ground tombs are there in the first place because of the frequent flooding in our area and the fact that our water table is very high.
In some areas, digging a few feet down would mean that the grave would become soggy and fill with water and cause the casket to literally float. I feel like you would agree that tree limbs and power lines are enough.
Another reason to stick with local media at all costs.
