Westgate’s Keydrain Calligan Commits To State School

A local prep football standout has committed to a state school.

Keydrain Calligan, a defensive back from Westgate High School in New Iberia, La., gave a verbal pledge to ULM on Sunday.

Calligan, who was crowned state champ in the triple jump at the state track meet last spring, was also named an LSWA Class 4A All-state selection in basketball last year.

Southeastern Louisiana also reportedly offered Calligan.

Calligan is scheduled to graduate next spring.
