Woman Found Dead In Her Moss Bluff Home

MOSS BLUFF, La. (AP) — Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's deputies are investigating the death of a 48-year-old Moss Bluff woman.

Sheriff Tony Mancuso tells The American Press that a man called authorities at about 11:30 p.m. Sunday and told dispatchers that he killed his wife.

Mancuso said deputies responding to the call found Treasa Williams Baumberger's body in a back bedroom of the house.

He said deputies arrested 48-year-old Jon Wray Baumberger on Monday and booked him on a charge of second-degree murder.

It was not immediately known whether Jon Wray Bamuberger has an attorney.
