Could former Louisiana Ragin' Cajun baseball star Jonathan Lucroy possibly be playing for an American League Central team in 2019?

The 32-year old Lucroy, who is an unrestricted free agent, is reportedly not close to financial terms with Oakland on a contract for next season, after spending 2018 with the Athletics.

A member of the UL baseball squad from 2005-2007, before being drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers in the third round of the 2007 amateur entry draft, Lucroy, a two-time National League All-Star selection (2014 & 2016), hit a .241, to go along with 4 home runs and 51 runs batted in for the A's last season.
