Wreck Closes Lane on I-10, Major Delays Announced
Another wreck on I-10 has caused many traveling the highway to stop or detour.
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announced on Wednesday afternoon, July 10, 2024, that the left lane on I-10 East was closed due to an accident.
The lane closure is on I-10 at the Atchafalaya Basin. Motorists can expect major delays as DOTD reports that traffic is backed up 7 miles.
Those traveling may want to detour to I--49 North, then to US HWY 190 East.
