Yarbrough To Relinquish Command Of JRTC

FORT POLK, La. (AP) — Brig. Gen. James C. Yarbrough, commander of the Joint Readiness Training Center and Fort Polk, will relinquish command in a January ceremony to Brig. Gen. Clarence K.K. Chinn.

Yarbrough took command of the JRTC and central Louisiana Army base in July 2008.

Chinn will take over operations on Jan. 7 during the 10:30 a.m. ceremony. He most recently was deputy commanding general for support of the 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg, N.C.
