You Need To Boil Your Water In Lawtell

It's not everyday something like this happens, but customers of the Lawtell Water Works District 1, have to boil their water until further notice.

When a community is given a boil advisory, you must bringing your water to a rolling boil for at least one minute before using it or consuming it.

The advisory will stay in effect until notice is given from the town that it's okay to use the water again.

Officials site the recent weather as the reason for the boil water advisory.

So whether you are brushing your teeth, taking a shower or making food, you need to boil your water for one full minute before you use it.
