
Youngsville Has A New Chief Of Police-Elect
Yesterday Youngsville voters went to the polls to make their selection for a variety of candidates and issues, and when the dust had settled last night, a new person was elected as the community's Chief of Police.
Incumbent Earl Menard only received 32.91% of the vote, and challenger Rickey Boudreaux is the new Chief of Police-elect as he garnered 58.75% of the vote.
The other challenger in the race was Gary Williams. The Democrat ended with 8.34% of the vote.
