1 Dead, 1 Missing After Chicago River Rescue

CHICAGO (AP) — Rescue workers in Chicago are still searching for a woman who jumped into the Chicago River while trying to help a friend.

Chicago police say a 26-year-old man jumped in the river to retrieve a cellphone he'd dropped early Monday.

The woman and another man also jumped in to help him.

Only the male friend was pulled out of the water alive. The man with the cellphone died.
