Saturday morning while many residents of Louisiana were waking up to violent thunderstorms with damaging winds, at least one resident was waking up $10,000 richer. That's because Friday night's drawing in the multi-state lottery game, Mega Millions produced a $10,000 winning ticket that was sold in our state.

Officials with the Mega Millions game say no single ticket matched all of the necessary numbers to claim the game's top prize. So, the next time the ping pong balls drop, which will be Tuesday evening, the estimated jackpot will be $91 million.

The $10,000 winning ticket matched four of the white ball numbers and the Mega Ball from the January 11th drawing. Here's how those numbers played out:

Louisiana Lottery officials say the $10,000 winner was sold in Franklinton at the Winn Dixie store on Washington Street.

Meanwhile, the jackpot in the Powerball game, the other multi-state lottery game available for Louisiana players, continues to rise. For Wednesday's next drawing in the Powerball lottery officials estimate the top prize will be $296 million.
